About Aryca:
What is an Aryca?
Aryca hardcases are a real problem-solver: the sturdy bags in particular protect electronic equipment safely and fully working. In all weather conditions and under extreme situations. They are not only splash-proof, but absolutely waterproof. The cases withstand drops of up to seven meters. An Aryca means an enormous extension of the use of your equipment.
What does "100% waterproof" mean?
You can rely on the tightness of our Arycas absolutely, as long as the foil on the front is not violated by accident, the latch levers are properly closed and there are no damage to "hard shell".
Our categorization
We have checked according the recognized industry standard IEC 60529. It assures water resistance to a worldwide common standard: the Smartphone cases complies with IPX8, what means permanent immersion for conditions of the manufacturer. We test for 1 hour in 5m water depth.
There are exceptions: our tablet series meets the IPX7 standard: short immersion up to 1 m and returning to the surface immediately. The test conditions: Protection against immersion in water - suitable for immersion for 5 seconds in depths of up to 1 m.
What is the recommended maximum depth?
The smaller Smartphone cases are submersible up to five meters. The larger Tablet cases can be used to a depth of one meter.
What is dust- and dirt-proof?
A waterproof case usually is also dustproof. Here, too, the Arycas have undergone various tests. And passed.
Does the Aryca floats with content?
No. The weight of the hardcases is too high. Therefore, we recommend to attach our Floating Lanyard to the cases.
What is an Aryca made of?
The hard outer frame and the hard back are both made from polycarbonate. The foil of the front is a very tear-resistant silicone foil.
Can I use the Aryca in a hot bathtub?
At 40° C the hard plastic parts begin to soften. If you submerge the Aryca in a very hot bath, it could be leaking. As long as you don’t hold the case under water you should have no problem.
What else should I consider?
After receiving the shipment, check the contents for completeness and quality. Before first use, test the Aryca in a sink. Insert a small box, dip the Arica under water and press it slightly. Some air bubbles will rise from the bolt. That's ok, because there is some water in the lock, but not in the bag. But if a chain of bubbles flows the Aryca could be leaking. Then please check again whether the lock is properly locked. If it is leaking, we please you to contact us.

Check the Aryca before each use for external damage. In case of doubt please perform again the sink test.
Before opening the case please shake all the water out of the lock to prevent water coming into the Aryca.
After use in salt- or chlorine-water, as well as contact with suntan lotion, you should clean the Aryca with soapy water and then rinse with clear water. Do not use bleach, cleaning alcohols or household cleaners. A user manual is included in each Aryca.
What guarantee do we give?
We give a statutory two-year guarantee on all Aryca-products
Is the sound quality affected?
You can use your mobile phone or wireless device as usual in the Aryca. Even the voice recordings are good. The foil serves as a diaphragm. To avoid a minor loss of volume simply increase the speaker volume.
How does taking photos work?
You shoot through the clear back of the hardcase. There is virtually no loss of quality. The tablet-case has an extra kind of lens formed out at the place where usually the camera sits. Are there problems with flash photography?
The flash can reflect light within the cases, which leads to foggy interference on the photos. Best: Turn off the Flash. Specifically, underwater flash makes no sense, because the flash light reflects particles suspended in the water.
How do I repair cracks or holes in the Aryca?
It is not possible to glue or otherwise repair a crack in the frame permanently. If there are cracks or holes in the foil of the front we provide replacement foils, not for all sizes, but for the most.
