What keeps water, sand & dust out?

The patented Aquaclip® seals the case - with a simple twist of a couple of levers. It's been tested to the toughest international waterproofing standards. If you haven't seen one before, read our quick guide to the Aquaclip
Tech Specs:
-
Materials:
Aquapacs
are made from a variety of materials, mostly plastics which make them
rustproof. These include TPU, ABS, nylon and polypropylene.
- Extreme
Temperatures: Although
the case material has been UV-stabilized – which means that the plastic
shouldn’t be discoloured or broken down by sunlight – the Aquapac won’t protect
anything inside it from heat or sunlight. The soft case material is functional
and flexible in air temperatures -40ºC to +60ºC (-40ºF to +140ºF), and water
temperatures up to +40ºC (+100ºF).
- Humidity and Condensation: In humid climates there will be moisture in the air sealed inside the case. Desiccant sachets will absorb the moisture, keeping the contents completely dry. We recommend use of desiccant sachets in all Aquapacs in humid climates. You can purchase spare sachets – see Accessories.
- Waterproofness: The Aquapac range has been independently tested to
international waterproofing standards. However, the waterproofness of your
Aquapac depends on your closing and opening it carefully, and on it not being
damaged either before or during use. Please follow all instructions carefully.
- Karabiner for attaching to clothing and Trockenmittel to prevent fogging are available as extras.
- This is not a toy. It may contain small parts which may be a choking hazard to children under 3. Keep small parts away from children.
